Bates Trucking offers bulk trash collection to assist you with removing large unwanted items, such as large furniture, appliances, rugs/carpets, computers, televisions and other electronic items. To find out what items are acceptable and NOT acceptable we encourage you to go to your County website.
PG County Residents
If you live in Brentwood, District Heights, Colmar Manor, Capitol Heights, or Edmonston your bulk trash service date is every Wednesday. Please call our corporate office between Thursdays 9am – Tuesdays 2pm to get on the list for that Wednesday’s service. Town of Bladensburg residents have bulk services on Fridays and will need to call in between Monday 9am – Thursday 2pm to get on the list. All other Prince George’s County residents need to call (301) 952-7630 to obtain a date for bulk trash service.
Effective February 1, 2019, for the health and safety of staff, Prince George’s County residents requesting curbside collection of Bulky items will be required to completely cover mattresses and box springs in a protective plastic covering. Mattresses and box springs delivered to the landfill by residents will not be required to be covered in protective encasement.
